Our airport representatives will receive you at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer you to your hotel in Kathmandu. The Dinner and Overnight stay at a Kathmandu Hotel.
Day 01 Kathmandu Arrival
Day 02 kathmandu Valley Sightseen
After breakfast in the hotel, the Sightseeing will be done in Pashupatinath Temple, Budanilkantha and Doleshwor Mahadev in Bhaktapur. Once you are back at the hotel the packing, briefing and documentary viewing will be done for the comfortable tour of Kailash & Mansarovar.
Day 03 Kathmandu to Nyalam
The bus or jeep drive from Kathmandu to Nyalam which is about 160 kilometers takes place on this day. It is about 5.5 hours to reach the Nepal – Tibet Border where we will take lunch in Nepal side Lipping nearby Nepal Tibet Friendship Bridge. All the customs formalities will be cleared by our staff including immigration then we check into the Tibet side an autonomous part of China. Then we drive to Zhangmu famously known as Khasa Bazaar among Nepalese. Overnight will be in a Guesthouse and vegetarian food will be prepared by Nepali cook for all travelers.
Day 04 Acclimatization Day
At Nyalam, after breakfast, the acclimatization hiking takes place for about 1.5 hours. Once returned from short hiking we will have lunch and the whole day is leisure.
Day 05 Nyalam to Dongba
After breakfast, we leave to Dongba from Nyalam in about 6 hours of drive. The lunch will be a hot lunch box during the road trip. The bus driver will take you through the Nomads and Peku Tso Lake, Salt Lake towards Saga City. This is a very big city and lots of facilities. After two hours of driving from Saga, we reach Dongba. The overnight at the hotel will be in a comfortable Hotel.
Day 06 Dongba to Mansarovar
Dongba - to Mansarovar Lake (4580m)After Breakfast the bus driver for about 6-7 hours will take you to Mansarovar Lake. The anticipation and excitement of the tour start to get over you in this junction of the tour. The Mansarovar Lake would be nearer than ever in this junction. The first sight of Holy Kalash Parbat would be seen in the afternoon from Horchu. We start the rotation of Mansarovar Lake completes it about 2-3 hours by bus. After rotation of lake, we reach Chiu Gompa near Manasarovar Lake. Full moon night in Mansarovar Lake which is also called Purnima or Buddha Jayanti is very holy and beautiful from this place.
Day 07 Mansarovar Lake to Darchen
Mansarovar Lake to Darchen (4600 meters – 40 kilometers drive)The special place will be determined for you to take a holy dip in Mansarovar Lake. You can offer money, flowers and take water from the holy lake. The followers are seen there as meditating or reciting the prayer chants of Lord Shiva. It is believed that once you have done Homa or prays Lord Shiva all your pain will be gone. After prayers lunch will be around 2 pm in the afternoon. The bus driver will again take you to Darchen for overnight sleep. In the morning, we will choose a special point to take a deep dip in Mansarovar Lake taking
Day 08 Darchen to Tarboche
Drive from Darchen to Tarboche (Yamadwar -gate for the god of death)The walking to Dirapuk starts from Sershong. Some of the pilgrims can hire porter or pony for 3 days. These arrangements should be done while being in Mansarovar Lake in coordination with the Tibetan guide before starting the round or Kora. The walking on this day is about 5-6 hours. Yak will carry the goods and equipment. The view of Mt. Kailash north face is very close and seems like Lord Shiva is sitting there. Overnight will be in Dirapuk mud House.
Day 09 Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk
Dirapuk to Zuthulpuk (4790 meters - 22 kilometers Drive) –This is a very significant day as well as treacherous too. The pilgrims have to pass the Dolma La or Dorma La Pass situated at an altitude of 5636 meters. The unpredictable weather could sometimes bring snowstorm. The early start of the journey is important. The chance to visit Ganesh Kund and Gauri Kund is equally auspicious. The journey consists of steep uphill and downhill. Uphill until Dorma La Pass and downhill till Shape Datok then flatland trail to Zuthulpuk Monastery where pilgrims will stay overnight in Mud House.
Day 10 Zuthulpuk to Mansarovar
Zuthulpuk to Mansarovar Lake and to Dongba: After Breakfast the pilgrims will walk downhill to Chongdo for about 3 hours and again drive back to Darchen for the lunch. After lunch, the water of Mansarovar will be filled and again move towards Dongba for overnight sleep.
Day 11 Dongba to Nyalam
Dongba to Nyalam: This junction of the journey is the last night stay in Tibet part. It would be the bus journey of about 5-6 hours.
Day 12 Nyalam to Kathmandu
Nyalam to Kathmandu. After breakfast in Nyalam, the bus driver will take you to the Friendship Bridge in Tibet & Nepal border. After all the customs and immigration clearance Nepal side will pick you up and bring you back to Kathmandu in Tourist Coach.
Day 13 Transfer to airport departure
