Day 01 Kathmandu arrival
Day 02 City tour or free day to explore and shop on your own.
The tour includes the Kathmandu valley, Pashupatinath temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Boudhanath. We offer an expert tour guide for this day excursion.
Day 03 Early morning drive to Jiri-Bhandar.
We drive 8 to 9 hours to Jiri by private vehicle. Jiri is one of the most picturesque towns in Nepal. We continue driving to Bhandar, our trek starting point.
Day 04 Bhandar to Sete .
Beginning the trek, we descend to Likhu Khola, cross it and walk towards Kenja, enjoying green hills and beautiful views. Then we descend, passing some tiny Sherpa settlements and reaching Sete.
Day 05 Sete to Junbesi .
We climb up to the Lamjura Pass (3,530m) through the rhododendron forest. If you trek in spring, you can see the trees in bloom. We have lunch at the pass and trek down to Tragdobuk. After a short walk from there, we reach Junbesi.
Day 06 Junbesi to Nunthala.
We begin today’s walk with a short climb up a hilly ridge before reaching Salung. From there, we climb down to Ringmo Khola and ascend a hill. On the way, we see waterfalls and a brief view of Mt. Everest (8 848m). From Taksindo Pass, the trail leads to Nunthala.
Day 07 Nhuntala to Kharikhola.
We climb down to a river and then up through Sherpa settlements.
Day 08 Kharikhola to Surke.
We trek through dense pine woods on a rocky trail. Passing through Sherpa valleys, we reach Surke.
Day 09 Surkhe to Phakding
We gradually climb to Phakding, where we meet trekkers coming from Lukla airport.
Day 10 Trek to Namche Bazaar
We begin our walk uphill after check-in at the Sagarmatha National Park counter. As we approach Namche Bazaar, we can see the stunning Himalayas, including Mt. Everest. Namche Bazaar, a bustling market town, is considered the Sherpa capital.
Day 11 Namche Bazaar, rest and acclimatization day
During our acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar, we take short trips to explore the shrines, markets, and natural surroundings. We can opt to walk around villages such as Khunde, Khumjung, and others, experiencing the colorful monasteries and Chhortens.
Day 12 Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Today's walk gives us outstanding views of Everest, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and many other white peaks.
Day 13 Tengboche to Dingboche
We cross the Imja Khola River below the Ama Dablam peak as the route becomes more difficult. On the way, we see ancient monasteries and Sherpa settlements.
Day 14 Dingboche to Lobuche
As we begin walking, we see the Khumbu glacier. We also pass memorials to mountaineers who died during their treks. Our walking is at a gradual pace at this high elevation as we approach Lobuche.
Day 15 Trek to Everest Base Camp (5364m) via Gorekshep.
It’s a great day for us. We begin the trek from Lobuche and reach Gorakshep for lunch. Then we walk to our target destination: Everest Base Camp. If our timing is right, we can see the movement of climbers practicing for their ascent. After a short time, we return to Gorakshep, where we spend the night.
Day 16 Hike to Kalapattar (5545m), descend to Gorakshep - Pheriche.
We get up early for the short climb up Mt. Kalapattar to enjoy the sunrise views of Mt. Everest, and the neighboring peaks of Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and others. We return to Gorakshep for breakfast and then begin the long trek down to Pheriche.
Day 17 Pheriche to Namche Bazaar.
Passing traditional villages like Pangboche and Tengboche, we gradually move to Namche Bazaar Overnight.
Day 18 Namche Bazaar to Lukla.
This is the last day of our trek and we celebrate our adventure in the airport town of Lukla.
Day 19 Fly back to Kathmandu.
Early in the morning, we go to the airport to fly back to Kathmandu. From Kathmandu airport, we transfer you to your hotel.
Day 20 Rest day, farewell dinner.
Enjoy a full day in Kathmandu, whether it’s shopping in Thamel or visiting historical sites. We also want to celebrate your wonderful trek with a farewell dinner.
Day 21 Departure.
After a memorable experience, we take you to the airport for your flight home. Thank you for your journey with us!
