Day 01 Kathmandu arrival
Day 02 City tour or free day to explore and shop on your own.
The tour includes the Kathmandu valley, Pashupatinath temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square and Boudhanath. We offer an expert tour guide for this day excursion.
Day 03 Fly to Lukla (2,869m) and trek to Phakding.
After an early breakfast, we take you to the domestic airport for the short, scenic flight to Lukla. We begin the trek above the Dudh Koshi River and walk to Phakding. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner (BLD) included.
Day 04 Trek to Namche Bazaar.
We begin our steep uphill walk after check-in at the Sagarmatha National Park counter. As we approach Namche Bazaar, we can see the stunning Himalayas, including Mt. Everest. Namche Bazaar, a bustling market town, is considered the Sherpa capital.
Day 05 Namche Bazaar, Rest and Acclimatization.
During our acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar, we take short trips to explore the shrines, markets, and natural surroundings. We can opt to walk around villages such as Khunde, Khumjung, and others, experiencing the colorful monasteries and Chhortens.
Day 06 Namche Bazaar to Dole.
We start our walk on a gentle trail, cross a stream and enjoy forest and mountain views. After Lunch Phorte Tanga we need gradually climb 2 hours been Dole.
Day 07 Dole to Machhermo.
As we draw nearer to the high mountains, our pace slows as the elevation passes 4,000 meters. Reaching Machhermo, we enjoy the panoramic surroundings, bordered by the snow-covered peaks.
Day 08 Machhermo to Gokyo Lake.
It's a spectacular day for us. With excellent views of Kangtega and Cho-Oyu (8,201m), along with some of the hidden valleys, we walk further from Machhermo to Gokyo Lake/Gokyo valley. The trek passes through Pangka and descends to the river bank. Before reaching the Gokyo valley, we pass through Longpongo and Taujung.
Day 09 Hike to Gokyo Ri (5,350m), return to Goyko Lake.
We get up early for the short climb of Gokyo Ri and the wonderful sunrise views of Mt. Everest (8,848m), Lhotse (8,516m), Makalu (8,481m), Cho Oyu (8,201m) and others. The Ngozumba glacier that can be seen is the longest glacier in Nepal. After this amazing excursion, we return to Gokyo Lake. BLD
Day 10 Gokyo to Dole.
Today we begin our descent by the same route that we climbed, enjoying the beautiful snowy mountain views from a different vantage point.
Day 11 Dole to Jorsale.
Our descent continues as we go by Namche Bazaar to Jorsale, the entrance, and exit of the Sagarmatha National Park.
Day 12 Jorsale to Lukla
This is the last day of our trek and we celebrate our adventure in the airport town of Lukla, where we began the trek.
Day 13 Fly back to Kathmandu.
Early in the morning, we go to the airport to fly back to Kathmandu. From Kathmandu airport, we transfer you to your hotel, where you will no doubt enjoy a long hot shower! We invite you to a farewell dinner to celebrate your successful trek.
Day 14 Departure.
After a memorable experience, we take you to the airport for your flight home. Thank you for your journey with us!
