Detailed Itinerary Everest Chola Pass Trek
Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu
Welcome to Nepal, after your arrival in the Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal hiking trek representative will be waiting for you with a Nepalese style greeting and pick you from there and drop you to your hotels. Take rest for a while enjoying the outside environment and explore the place where you are. Overnight at the three Star hotel, Kathmandu.
Day 02: city sightseeing tour or free day to explore and shop
Today is your spare day, after the early breakfast, you will enjoy the full day sightseeing tour around the Kathmandu valley. You can enjoy the visit to the many cultural sites listed in the UNESCO world heritage sites including the famous Hindu temple Pashupatinath temple, Krishna Mandir, Buddhist stupa Swyambhunath, Boudhnath and city old palace complex Patan Durbar Square, Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square which makes you feel calm and peace. Then on the way to your hotel, you can explore the local area, lifestyle. You can also explore and enjoy shopping in the Thamel and Durbarmarg.

Day 03: Fly to Lukla (2,869 meters) and trek to Phakding
Trekking hours: 2 hours
Early in the morning after the light breakfast, you will fly from Kathmandu to Lukla via mountain flight of about 35-minute scenic and adventure flight. With the clear weather, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the mountain including Everest. Then after arrival at the Lukla, you will begin your trek following a gentle climb up the mountainside. Along the way, you will enjoy the beautiful views of Nt Nupla, Kusum Kangaru, and the Mount Kwongde Range. Around the 2 hours walk, you will reach to the speaking village. Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar
Today after having the early breakfast you will head to reach Namche Bazar leaving the Pakding village following the Dudh Koshi valley, walk through the pine and bamboo forest, crossing the scattered village of the Sherpa, cross the suspension bridge before reaching the Monjo village (the entrance gate of the Sagarmatha national park). You will also pass the beautiful waterfalls and other culturally and naturally occurring items. Day 05: Namche Bazaar, Rest and Acclimatization

Day 06: Namche Bazaar to Dole
Early in the morning after having the light breakfast, you will leave to Namche Bazaar to reach dole, you can enjoy the clear views of the snowy mountains and unique vegetations on the trial. You can also observe their lifestyle and culture. You can also explore the remote lifestyle and can see the locals engage here irrigate the crops for the needs and earn their income. Farming and lodging are the main occupations of the dole people. Normally it takes 5 hours to reach dole leaving the Namche Bazaar. Overnight at Teahouse in Dole.
Day 07: Dole to Machhermo
On the seventh day of your trek, crossing the dole, you will head to Mochermo (the way to Gokyo), you can get an excellent view of the valley. Normally it takes 6 hours to reach Machhermo from Dole. You will also climb to the Ngozumpz glacier (a major attraction while heading to the Machhermo it is also the world's seconds largest glacier by its appearance. Day 08: Machhermo to Gokyo lake

Gokyo village is the famous trekking destination of your trek. You will trek to Gokyo village via Ngozumpa Glacier. On the trail, you can take the close views of the Mt Everest, Lhotse, Mt Cho Oyu, Mt Nuptse, Mt Ama Dablam, and other surrounding snow-capped mountains. Gokyo village lies north of the Dudh Pokhari so you can also explore this lake if you have some time which looks amazingly outstanding. Day 09: Hike to Gokyo Ri(5,350 meters), return to Gokyo lake
After exploring the Gokyo valley and Gokyo lake today you will do for hiking up to Gokyo Ri early in the morning to see the amazing views of the Gokyo village. Gokyo Ri is an excellent viewpoint in the Everest region. You normally have to hike up 4 hours to reach Gokyo Ri. Collect the memorable views and descend back to Gokyo. Overnight at Guest House in Gokyo.
Day 10: Gokyo Lake to Thangnak
It's day 10 of your Everest Chola Pass trek. After climbing Gokyo Ri yesterday, you're leaving this valley and heading to the Thangnak. It means you will trek down the Ngozbuma glacier before finding the teahouse at Thangnak. The experience of the remote lifestyle, walk through the scattered village of the Sherpa and Magar, experience the beautiful natural beauty, views of the snow-peaks. Overnight at Thangnak.
Day 11: Thangnak to Dzongla(4860 meters) via Cho-la Pass
Today after having the light breakfast, you will climb to the Cho La Pass, enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains, capture some in your camera. After exploring the place descend to Thangnak. Enjoy the lunch and move ahead leaving Thangnak to Dzongla following the trial, crocking the dense forest, the scattered village you will reach to Dzongla after walking around 5 hours. Explore the place. Overnight at Dzongla.
Day 12: Dzongla to Lobuche
After having an early breakfast, you will leave Dzongla to reach Lobuche. During your walk, you will offer the beautiful views of Mt Everest, Mt Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse, and many other snowy peaks, walk through the unique landscapes. After walking for 5 hours you will reach today's destination. Overnight at Lobuche.
Day 13: Lobuche to Gorak Shep to EBC (5,364 meters) to Gorak Shep
On the 13 days of your trek, you will walk to the Gorak Shep. Have the lunch in Gorak Shep. And move ahead to Everest Base Camp which takes around 2 hours to reach to the lap of the world highest mountain, enjoy the beautiful environment, offers scenery. Capture the moment in your camera, take a rest for a while in the lap of Mt Everest and you will return back to Gorakshep. Overnight at Gorakshep.
Day 14: Gorak Shep to Kalapathar to Dingboche
After exploring Everest Base Camp today you will enjoy a hike to Kalapather-the attractive viewpoint to enjoy the beautiful summit of the world highest mountain. The summit views of Everest is blocked by the Nurse, but you can enjoy the clear views of the summit without any disturbance. After enjoying the beautiful views descend back and continue the walk to reach Dingboche. Overnight at Dingboche.
Day 15: Dingbuche to Khumjung
Today you will move ahead after having the early breakfast leaving the Dingboche to Khumjung exploring the ancient monasteries, offer you the panoramic outlooks of the snowy mountains. Can also explore the remote lifestyle, unique culture, tradition and religion, Khumjung valley. Overnight at Khumjung.
Day 16: Khumjung to Phakding
Leaving Khumjung you will descend down to Phakding crossing the dense bamboo and pine forest, the scattered village of the Gurung and Magar and final views of the snow-capped mountains. Overnight at Phakding.
Day17: Phakding to Lukla
Today is your last day to experience the final adventure walk to reach Lukla. Following the track of the Dudh Koshi rivers. Continue to walk around 3-4 hours you will reach Lukla, your flight will be booked to fly back to Kathmandu by your agency. Explore the Lukla for the final time. You can enjoy the night at Lukla for the beautiful success of the trek. if you want you can enjoy a drink and culture dance with your friends. Overnight at Lukla.
Day 18: Fly back to Kathmandu
The last day of your adventure trek ends here. At the morning, you will head to the Tenzing and Hillary airport, Lukla for your final departure and flight to Kathmandu. It will take only 35 minutes to arrive at the airport from Lukla. During the flight, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the mountains and Himalayas, charming valley, rivers, gorge. After arrival at the airport, our vehicle will pick up you from the airport. Take a rest. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 19: Rest day, Farewell dinner
Today is your free day in Kathmandu. You can go shopping and visit nearby. You can also enjoy the spa and message in the Thamel to blow all your tiredness, enjoy the shopping in the Thamel. Depends on your interest, you can also go for the city sightseeing. And in the evening, Nepal Hiking Trek will host a farewell dinner with some cultural program. Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 20: Departure
Today is your last day of the trip to Nepal. If you have some time you can explore the Thamel for the last time, meeting with your close friends. Nepal Hiking Trek representative with a vehicle will come to pick you at the hotel and transfer to the international airport for your final departure.

Best Season to trek Everest Chola Pass Trek
Nepal has the four season. They are:
Spring: March, April, May
Monsoon: June, July, August
Autumn: September, October, November
Winter: December, January, February
The weather condition differs from the altitude. But as you trek in the mountains, the weather in the high altitude is always cold.

The average temperature drops to 15-16 degree Celsius at the day time due to the humid climate and the night time may get cooler too.

Training requirements for the Everest Chola Pass Trek
Everest Chola Pass trek is the challenging trek and most of the routes are moderate but some of the routes are a little difficult so for this, you should be prepared. If you are an experienced trekker you may find it the moderate trekking destination but if you are a new trekker you may find it challenging so you must train at least for three months to trek if you are new trekkers, you should be prepared by taking long walks in the uphills or go other hiking or short treks before you start this trek, you should choose some high elevation treks whining training for this trek. mainly avoid heavy exercise, improve your strength by swimming, cycling, yoga.
