Day 01: Kathmandu arrival

  • Altitude: 1340 meters
  • Accommodation: three-star hotel in Kathmandu
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner

Welcome to Kathmandu- a city full of colorful markets, bustling streets, colorful temples, and beautiful pagodas. Nepal hiking trek representative will receive you from the international airport and transfer you to your hotel. The rest of your time you'll explore the Thamel area of the city. You can do the shopping and buy your necessary trekking gear near the city. Your overnight stay will be at the Three-star hotel, Kathmandu.

Day 02: Fly to Lukla (2869 meters) and trek to Phakding

On the second day of your trek, you'll take an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. After landing at Lukla airport you will take short rest, and head towards Phakding by following the Dudh Koshi river. During the hike, you will also cross a suspension bridge. Day 03: Trek to Namche Bazaar

On the third day, after having the early breakfast you'll head towards one of the beautiful places, Namche Bazaar. Day 04: Namche Bazaar to Tengboche

On the fourth day of your trek after having breakfast, you will start your walk through the narrow trails. During the hike, you'll stop in several places to blow your tiredness by enjoying the outstanding views of Mt Ama Dablam, Mt Everest, Mt Tabuchi, Mt Thamserku, and other un-named surrounding peaks. After a few walks in the trek, you will reach the hilltop village of Tengboche crossing the dense alpine and bamboo forest covered by the blooming rhododendrons experiencing the beautiful Himalayan flora and fauna. Tengboche village is very famous due to the presence of the Tengboche monastery- the largest monastery of the Khumbu region.

Day 05: Tengboche to Dingboche

On the fifth day of your trek, you will leave Tengboche village after having an early breakfast. The trek begins with first descend through the rhododendron forests and then gradually hike. After climbing countless mani stones, you will reach Pangboche. Rest here for a while and you will again begin your walk. You will ascend to reach Dingboche village. Dingboche is a very famous village for the summer settlements for yak grazing. Day 06: Dingboche to Lobuche

On the sixth day of your trek, you will leave Dingboche village after having an early breakfast to reach Lobuche village crossing the dense forest. During the walk, you will also cross the Suspension bridge of Thukla. You may feel quite difficult while climbing but your tiredness will vanish away by the amazing surrounding. You will stay overnight at Lobuche.

Day 07: Lobuche to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp

  • Altitude: 5346 meters (Everest Base Camp)
  • Accommodation: basic teahouse
  • Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner
  • Trekking hours: about 6-7 hours

On the seventh day, you will finally trek to Gorakshep and Everest Base Camp Trek leaving Lobuche after having a hot breakfast. Today's trekking trail will be smoothly up and down, heading to the Gorakshep you will view the beautiful Khumbu glacier and beautiful surrounding views. As you come near to Gorakshep, the trail can be quite tough as you will hike rough up and down in the rock. After you reach Gorakshep, taking some rest you'll head to Everest Base Camp, the main attraction and destination of this trek. The major highlights of the day are that you can see the gorgeous views of the snowy mountains including Mt Everest, Mt Nuptse, Mt Pumori, Mt Khumbutse, Mt Lingtren, and other surrounding peaks. After enjoying the beautiful views of the snowy peaks you will return to Gorakshep. You will stay overnight at Gorakshep.

Day 08: Hike to Kalapatthar and descend to Gorakshep-Pheriche

  • Altitude: 5545 meters

  • Trekking hours: about 6-7 hours

On the eighth day of your trek, you will hike up to Kalapather. From Kala Pather, you will enjoy the panoramic mountain views. You will also view the Khumbu glacier which will look amazing. After reaching Kalapatthar- the attractive viewpoint of your trek, your breath will be taken away. From the top of Kalapatthar, you will see Mount Everest very closely. You will also view the summit of Mount Everest which always gets blocked by Mt Nuptse and other snowy peaks. Once you're done enjoying the mountain view, you'll trek back to Gorakshep and then you will descend to Pheriche- one of the beautiful valleys of the Everest region which is surrounded by rocky hills and mountains. Overnight stay will be at Pheriche.

Day 09: Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

On the ninth day of your trek, you will trek back to Namche Bazaar leaving the Pheriche village. You will cross the beautiful scattered Sherpa Villages and will walk through the dense rhododendron forests. Again you will walk through the suspension bridges. You'll get the perfect scenery of breathtaking mountain vistas. You will also pass different Mani stones, Chorten and Stupas. You'll then reach Namche Bazaar and spend your night there. 

Day 10: Namche Bazaar to Lukla

On the tenth day of your trek, you'll back down to Lukla where you'll catch your flight back to Kathmandu. Day 11: Fly back to Kathmandu
